Willington Historic District Commission
Meeting 5/24/17
Members present: Rosa Helena Chinchilla, Bob Shabot, Laurie Mascindaro, Tim Blauvelt, Mary Beth Caron
Call to order at 7:04 by Rosa Helena.
Moved to seat members: Tim moved to seat Mary Beth for Bill Bailey. Bob seconded. All in favor.
- The Willington Historical Society presented three Certificates of Appropriateness.
The first was for the repair and replacement of the front door side lights at One
Common Road. Mary Beth moved to accept. Tim seconded. 4 approved, 1 abstention.
The second was for the repair and replacement of the asphalt shingled roof at One Common Road. Laurie moved to accept. Tim seconded. 4 approved, 1 abstention.
The third was for the window replacement and window addition to One Common Road. Laurie moved to accept. Mary Beth seconded. 4 approved, 1 abstention.
2. Rosa brought up the Scenic Road proposal that has been tabled. She is going to pursue the possibility of designating Moose Meadow Rd and Kucko Rd as Scenic.
